The Travel Chapter is excited to have been awarded the accolade of ‘Highly Commended' in the Travel & Tourism category.
Canine Cottages has received another accolade for its Canine Critics campaign. Last year’s hunt to recruit a team of dogs, whose responsibilities would include sniffing out the very best in dog-friendly holidays, received over 62,000 applicants.
In addition to having already received ‘Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year’ at the Travolution Awards and ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ at the Travel Marketing Awards, last week Canine Critics also achieved 'Highly Commended' in the Travel & Tourism category at The Drum Awards for Marketing. This annual celebration rewards the most effective marketing campaigns, companies and people from around the world.
Whilst being pipped to the post for the winning spot, the team are honoured to have received recognition in a category that had such strong competition and high-quality entries, with eight other brands and campaigns having been nominated within the category. We’d like to say a big congratulations to UNIT9 and Verizon for their winning entry, Met Unframed, which provided an immersive AR experience of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York during the pandemic.
Matt Brayley, Marketing Director at The Travel Chapter, said: “We were up against some brilliant companies and campaigns so for Canine Critics to have been shortlisted for an award was a fantastic achievement in itself, and to achieve ‘Highly Commended’ was, of course, even better. The campaign was a real collective effort across the Marketing and Technology teams and we’re excited to see where it takes us next.”
