We’re seeking an experienced manager with demonstrable Managed Services experience. You will lead a growing number of Hubs throughout the UK ensuring strategic direction and inspirational management skills. You will have direct accountability for the effectiveness, costs and budgets of all Managed Services throughout the portfolio.

As Head of Managed Services you will have a team of c.12 based Hub Managers. The core objective will be to provide excellent Managed Services to owners whilst meeting The Travel Chapters objectives and leading the team with clear, strong management of business objectives.

We are looking for

Skills,Knowledge and Experience; 

  • As Head of Managed Services you will have at least 5 years’ experience in operational management including the creation and development of support and maintenance plans. You will have a proven track record of high performance preferably within a similar organization or a solid property/ facilities management background.
  • An inspiring leader with a proven background in providing excellent service and results to a wide range of clients. Working closely with team managers to assist on more complex matters to ensure targets are achieved.
  • A practiced people manager in recruitment, coaching and development of talent.
  • Excellent relationship skills as a result of creating and developing strong working relationships with team members, holiday property owners, service providers and clients.
  • Target driven and results led individual who can deliver against company targets.
  • Proven ability to deliver growth through the implementation of best practice processes and training.
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities;

  • Setting the strategic direction for Managed Services throughout the Travel Chapter portfolio
  • Overseeing costs and budgets for all Managed Services
  • Managing, motivating and developing a team of Service Managers and skilled trade professionals across the UK
  • Oversee the Holiday Support team including complaints procedure for regional properties, reporting the impact on revenue and operational efficiency
  • Oversee the network of photographers to ensure all properties are marketed to their best potential
  • Setting performance targets including customer satisfaction, monitoring results and addressing any issues highlighted across each region
  • Overseeing and driving all planned and reactive maintenance projects for holiday properties within each region
  • Ensuring the services meets all statutory requirements
  • Delegating tasks to the appropriate regional Service Manager and managing the process, while keeping a hands-on presence as and when required
  • Ensuring works are carried out to high standards and customer satisfaction, to budget and agreed timescale
  • Ensure on call and out of hours provision is covered across all regions and is clearly relayed to Holiday Support
  • To drive the recruitment of new holiday cottages to manage and grow the business
