An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing technology team. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for internal users as well as assisting the Head of Technology Operations with infrastructure enhancements and project delivery.

Ideal background for applicants will be Systems/Windows Administrator, Network Engineer, or IT Support Engineer.

We are looking for

Knowledge, skills and experience required:


  • Strong user support skills with proven experience
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience providing Desktop/Server Support
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Must be confident with networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP)
  • Experience supporting VMware ESXi
  • Possess a full clean UK driving licence


  • Office 365 Administration, including Exchange/SharePoint
  • Experience supporting Linux technologies
  • Experience supporting Apple technologies
  • Cisco/CCNEP/HPCP/CompTIA certifications
  • Knowledge of 802.1X
  • Knowledge of Veeam backup solutions
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the Technology Team, maintaining the existing positive image of the department by providing timely support to staff members in a fast-paced environment in line with organisation's SLAs.
  • Helping support a range of technologies including Windows (desktop and server), Linux, networking, storage, and cyber security.
  • Provide the Head of Technology Operations with regular reporting of system performance. 
  • Production and updating of system documentation. 
  • The implementation and maintenance of technology and services to meet the operational requirements of the business.
  • Carry out some routine administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the IT department.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of updates in the technology industry to proactively suggest improvements to support the ongoing technical development of the team.
  • Take on any other responsibilities or tasks, within in reason and that support the running of the department.
