With over 300+ staff across the UK and a thriving portfolio of 6000+ properties across the UK, you can expect to work in a progressive and agile team. 

We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working and fast paced individual. You will be comfortable leading a large team and be ambitious about driving forward a digital-first Marketing Department. The successful candidate will be able to communicate across the business and be a strong leader. 

We're a data driven marketing department so understanding numbers and how they link to the wider business benefit is crucial. You will be accountable for marketing performance across all channels and have full budget responsibility.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Essential Skills

  • Commercial awareness, linking marketing activity to business benefit.
  • Digital first: with excellent knowledge of PPC, SEO, Social Media (both paid and un-paid), Programmatic Display, Video, Digital PR, eCRM and affiliates.
  • A sound knowledge of offline marketing activity to drive online sales: Including direct mail, sponsorship, television.
  • Previous Marketing experience gained in the leisure or travel industry.
  • A strong leader and able to lead large teams of 30+ people.
  • An understand of customer-first strategies, linking customer behaviour and activity to marketing effort.
  • Omni-channel experience; working across multiple different channels to bring campaigns to life both online and offline.
  • Highly data-literate, able to join relevant data sets in order to get the best business benefit.
  • Excellent communicator: Able to communicate to senior stakeholders as well as peers and the wider team.
  • Detail: You’ll have an excellent eye for detail and be able to pick out the most important information in any given project.
  • Experiencing of managing a £multimillion budget
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan the business marketing strategy
  • Guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing team
  • Prioritise the projects and workload of the team
  • Develop and manage the senior marketing team, giving leadership to the department
  • Work with external agencies and suppliers where necessary to deliver the overall marketing plan
  • Link our marketing channels across performance marketing, SEO, CRM, social, Brand and Content to deliver a joined up, omni-channel marketing strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the team’s working practices
