With the UK staycation demand exploding, we’re building a new product team to help accelerate our growth plans.

We are looking for a product manager based in either Bristol or Bideford to work on diverse and opportunity-rich product portfolio. Helping form a new product team, you’ll be responsible for embedding product foundations and practices, establishing priorities with stakeholders and senior management. Ensuring the right things are being built, at the right time, delivered and evaluated in the best way possible.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Essential Skills:

  • Comfortable with the ambiguity that comes from working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing market needs
  • Equally adaptable to working with senior management and team members alike
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Strong analytical skills and able to cut through opinions with data
  • An expert in customer-focused product development and comfortable working across all different stages of the product lifecycle
  • Experience with prioritisation frameworks, requirements gathering and user story writing

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create clear OKRs for the team to help them efficiently execute and ship work, delivering value for our business and users
  • Translating user needs and initiatives into well-written user stories with clear acceptance criteria to enable effective delivery
  • Helping the team define minimum viable product
  • Research, synthesise and share user data with your team to inform future iterations
  • Communicate product direction and the rationale behind it clearly to build consensus around your recommendations
  • Take ownership of prioritising backlogs with product teams and ensure benefits, dependencies and risks are communicated clearly and regularly
