What will I be doing?

As a Service Manager, you’ll be joining our friendly, local Managed Services team based in our Hawkshead office – striving to maintain high standards for our property owners and holiday cottage customers. The role is the perfect blend of field-based work and office work, where no two days will be the same. If you are organised and like dealing with people and property, then this role could be for you.

The Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating contractors and organising the resolution of any maintenance issues and other problems that may arise. The role includes maintaining the administration of the property portfolio to high standards to achieve the best possible customer feedback, owner retention and owner recommendations. It also includes accounts reconciliation and invoice charging.

The Service Manager will provide calm and clear communication between customers, housekeepers, cleaners, contractors and our Maintenance Team. They will have a flexible approach and be able to fill in when needed for housekeeping services or cleaning. Attention to detail, clear expectation setting, and communication is key to this vacancy.

This role is Monday to Saturday with one day off per week as planned on a rota system in advance, totalling 37.5 hours per week.

The role also comes with some on-call responsibilities that will be worked in rotation with other team members. These will be planned in advance and paid in addition to your annual salary.
