We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our growing delivery team - someone with excellent teamworking skills, who has a thorough understanding and experience of Agile delivery methods. You would manage one or two scrum teams, made up of developers and QAs, working closely with a Product Owner and Tech Lead to ensure we deliver a high-quality product. The role itself would be hybrid, with the primary focus as scrum master, facilitating ceremonies and driving delivery. However, you may need to call upon your traditional Project Management skills from time to time when delivering third party solutions.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Essential

  • Prior delivery experience in an agile environment.
  • Experience of facilitating agile ceremonies.
  • Experience of working with development teams.
  • Experience working across full product development lifecycle.
  • Experience of working across different teams with competing priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to coach agile best practices within your team and to the wider business.
  • Ability to draw upon a variety of techniques to cultivate high performing teams.
  • Enthusiastic about creating the opportunity for continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience working with third party suppliers.
  • Experience of online collaboration tools (e.g Jira, SharePoint, Miro, MS Teams).
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Work Location

  • Main work location will be work from home
  • Should also be available to regularly travel to either our Bristol Office or HQ in Bideford subject to business needs
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for multiple teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborative, and empowered to self-organise.
  • Identify obstacles and support the team to overcome any blockers or impediments.
  • Work with Product Managers to help refine the backlog against business priorities.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, ensuring they are positive and productive with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Channel agile best practices and utilise their associated frameworks, adapting as required.
  • Coach and mentor the team and wider business on agile best practices.
  • Write and manage project plans including risks, mitigations, budgets, and timelines when appropriate.
  • Managing relationships with third party suppliers.
  • Communicate between the various delivery teams and key stakeholders – internal and external.
