Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Experience in delivering a large-scale reporting project from start to finish
  • Managerial experience, particularly in leading a team through a business data transformation
  • An experienced Power BI practitioner, having designed visually appealing and user-experience driven Power BI dashboards, managed through apps in the Power BI Service
  • Experience of Jira or a similar project tracking software
  • Excellent SQL, Power Query and DAX knowledge with experience of using each in the combination of complex datasets from multiple sources into a single data model
  • Experience of having worked with data from many sources such as cloud data warehouses, Salesforce, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Excellent data analysis skills and ability to interpret the data output
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, demanding and changeable environment
  • An analytical mind with the desire to solve problems through the use of data

What will I be doing?

As our Reporting and Analysis Manager, you will line manage the Data Analysts and will support the Head of Data Science and Analytics in providing proactive business intelligence information for the organisation. Working cross-functionally, you’ll work with Departmental Leads to define analytical requirements and priorities.

Leading by example, you’ll have all the skills of a Senior Data Analyst as well as the ability to show the team how to relate to the business, implement best practices and innovate. You’ll be responsible for enabling and overseeing the tools used for data-driven decision making throughout the Travel Chapter and will be instrumental in helping to move teams across the organisation towards a more advanced level of analytical maturity. You will also identify ways for the business to improve both commercially and operationally through the use of data.
