Our team is key to our continued success and as part of this, we’re seeking a highly skilled Property Account Manager to expand our presence in the Yorkshire region.

The Property Account Manager role will be to, increase the performance of each property and the wider portfolio, whilst providing the owners with a first-class owner experience. The successful applicant will develop and implement a pricing strategies which reflects demand, region and market for each property. They will also be able to communicate confidently, effectively and persuasively with Owners, to both manage the property’s overall appearance and standards and the owner expectations, within Travel Chapter business terms.

 Essential:

  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Property knowledge
  • Experience of managing a range of customers
  • Good geographical knowledge of the area you are aligned to
  • A problem solver/Able to work on your own initiative
  • Good time management
  • Able to follow processes clearly and efficiently

 Desirable:

  • Experience of account management in the holiday letting industry
  • Knowledge of the holiday property industry
  • Photography skills
  • Interior design skills
What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality - Manage property features, Feedback and complaints, add improvements
  • Key Performance Indicators - To manage: Bookings per property. Occupancy rates. Revenue per property. Owner weeks per property. Property churn percentage. Remove barriers to bookings. Maintain or work towards TC standard contract terms.
  • Visits - Owner Quality & Compliance, photos, brand and latest TC info, complaints, inspections, Take ons
  • Service - Manage and build on owner expectations and satisfaction. Educate, maintain and build on owner quality of service to guests. Carry out On Call weekends offering Customer Service to guests and owners to achieve amicable resolution.
  • Knowledge - Be aware of competitors, Market, Internal brands, Regional performance indicators within portfolio
  • Reporting - Annual & Quarterly Performance, Achievements, Visits & Take ons, Stock Control, Plan for portfolio during following quarter
  • Personal - Use time effectively and efficiently; set and manage objectives and goals and evaluate these results. Remain calm under pressure.
  • Ambassador of the brand - Represent HC during all visits and while attending necessary functions and county shows

Peripheral Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personal appearance and present yourself and The Travel Chapter in a positive, professional light
  • Ensure camera and tablet in your possession are all functioning at all times
  • Responsible for upkeep of company car, report any problems to Senior PM
