That’s why we’re excited to announce that our flagship brand, holidaycottages.co.uk, has launched the inaugural Showcase Awards – an annual celebration of the most exceptional properties and inspiring stories from the holidaycottages.co.uk portfolio.
Aligning with the brand’s Showcase framework, the awards represent more than a humble recognition scheme; they're a meticulous search for the gold standard of self-catering hospitality across the UK and Ireland.
A rigorous search for the best
Elevating the prestige of the awards to an industry-recognised accolade, holidaycottages.co.uk has implemented a transparent judging system backed by internal data, the expertise of an in-house judging panel, and the scrutiny of celebrity expert judge Kevin McCloud.
A leading authority on design and transformation, Kevin’s expert validation ensures that award winners are recognised not just for their aesthetic appeal, but for their creative vision, structural integrity, and commitment to excellence.
A national stage for owner success
Launched in March 2026, the Showcase Awards are structured across four main award categories and will result in 135 shortlisted properties, 81 finalists, and 27 winners – with two clear paths to owner success:
Owner-nominated categories
- Expertly Judged: The most prestigious owner-nominated awards
- Collections: Owner-nominated awards for excellence within specific collections
Data-led categories
- Best in the UK and Ireland: Data-led awards for the top properties within geographic regions
- Internal data: Awards determined by internal property performance metrics
Our winning owners will be granted a far-reaching stage to celebrate their success. As well as featuring in cross-channel marketing, winners will be spotlighted in national and regional press coverage to ensure their property gets the recognition it deserves.
