At Travel Chapter we’re all passionate about the UK and Ireland, and we love working with our homeowners to help holidaymakers enjoy everything that the amazing destinations around the UK and Ireland have to offer. We also recognise the importance of helping to protect everything that is so special about them. It’s fantastic to see how our partnerships and all the local community projects we’ve supported are making a difference, but while we’re all proud of what we’ve achieved so far, we know that there’s always more to do.

Through our flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk, we’ve forged important partnerships with charities and organisations that educate us about our environmental impact and other important issues.
For every booking made through holidaycottages.co.uk, we donate to the RSPB to help restore 1 square metre of British woodland. In 2025, thanks to guests’ continued support, we reached the remarkable milestone of regenerating 1 million square metres of vital habitat.
Through holidaycottages.co.uk's partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, we contribute to several UK-wide climate and ocean resilience projects. We’re also passionate about supporting the society's annual ‘Great British Beach Clean’ – the UK’s longest-running beach and litter survey.
Since 2021, our dog-friendly holiday brand, Canine Cottages, has proudly partnered with the charity Battersea. In 2025, we started funding welcome packs for Battersea dogs in foster care. For each booking, we donate £2 + VAT to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
It’s not just national causes, though; through holidaycottages.co.uk, we are dedicated to supporting local organisations that benefit the communities they serve. Since 2023, we have directly supported over 100 local community organisations and charities to help them with providing positive experiences, improving accessibility, and supporting environmental issues.
Everyone who works at Travel Chapter is entitled to a volunteer day; time that they can book off and dedicate to charity or community work. Since 2023 over 538 volunteer days have been taken to support charities such as Samaritans, Macmillan and the National Trust.
Each year, we dedicate time and fundraising efforts to support a Charity of the Year; a charity which means a lot to us as a business, or one we know that does incredible work to support those who require their services. Since 2023 we’ve raised more than £25,000 supporting charities such as Cancer Research UK and Trussell.
Our staff want us to support charities which help save lives. In April 2026, we were delighted to announce a two-year Charity of the Year partnership with Air Ambulances UK.
We strive to inspire positive change by encouraging our guests to take care of the places they visit. By using our own resources and sharing guest blogs written by partner charities and organisations, we aim to inspire more sustainable holidays and celebrate the UK’s most beautiful and historic regions.
Our guests have access to a wide range of inspirational and educational resources, including environmental holiday tips, interviews with community volunteers, and National Trust guides. And to support local communities, we share destination guides that signpost local businesses, events, and attractions.
Our Responsible Holidays Charter encourages guests to support the fantastic locations and communities they visit by holidaying responsibly. It shows simple ways they can support and respect the local community, protect the natural environment, and look after their holiday property for the duration of their stay
We guide property owners to adopt realistic actions that promote positive change and enhance the sustainability of their holiday accommodations. We’re pleased to share a wide range of resources that encourage sustainability and embrace positive changes.
Our Owner advice centre at holidaycottages.co.uk is where we combine over 30 years of holiday letting experience with a passion to inspire meaningful change. Through informative guides and case studies, we walk our owners through energy-saving tips, sustainable changes they can make, such as the instalment of EV chargers, and much more
In 2026 we partnered with Something To Look Forward To, a charity which enables our homeowners to gift holidays at their properties to families whose lives have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis. To date, over 40 owners have signed up to offer the gift of time away.
